Good Philosophical Writing Splashes the Brain With Chemicals

Something happens in the mind when it is exposed to new thoughts, ideas, and concepts. If such information arrives when the brain is in the right mood to receive it, then it generally takes off running, and that is a good thing, high-level thinking usually is. Okay so, let’s talk about this for a moment shall we?

Not long ago, an acquaintance, John Altmann, said to me that some philosophical writing had; “turned my once meek appetite [for this particular topic] into a fierce and voracious hunger.”

Wow, well, if this has happened to you too, as it has for myself, then you know why it is so important to get students to read really good philosophy to pique their curiosity. What do I say to all this? I say; Good! Yes, we must use those chemicals to splash in our brains to ignite and take our minds to the next level, and we should encourage students, and their mentors to have dialogues on great philosophical questions of our time, actually on any topic they wish to partake.

After having engaged myself in such great works and later intellectual discourse and dialogue, I often feel unlimited in thought, always looking for fresh ideas to consider, to supplement my own. It is this type of high-end thinking that has allowed me to train my brain to come up with 2-original thoughts per day, which is very rewarding, that “Ah Ha” moment. If you become a seeker of such, it’s amazing where it will take you.

If we could foster such inquisitive and mind expanding knowledge and insight into the next generation then our future as the innovators of the world would be secure. So often, we 토토사이트 hear our leaders, educators, and corporate titans speak to the challenges of the twenty first century and how we must innovate, adapt, and meet that future head on. As the coordinator for a think tank which operates online, I wholly agree, and I would submit to you that it all starts with intellectual content.

No, it doesn’t have to be philosophical thoughts in this case, it could very well be science, engineering, space, and technology, but it has to be something and we have to start somewhere, thus I choose, just as John Altmann, has to accept that challenge and double the bet on that coming future. We can do this, Americans can do anything, consider what we’ve accomplished so far, heck, we are just warming up. Please consider all this and think on it.
